Bienvenu à Athlétique / Welcome to Athlétique, my name is Jeremy a.k.a Jett, and my mission is to help you reach your fitness goals through tailored, one-on-one Progressive Training sessions—building from the "ground up" to efficiently create a strong foundation to support success at every step, on our way to your ultimate goals, at home, in a park, or wherever you're most comfortable.

I started my Personal Trainer's journey by helping my partner with her own health and fitness challenges. She struggled with hyper-mobility and pelvic floor issues, often getting injured from group classes. Watching me recover and get back into shape after rugby related injuries inspired her to ask me to train her. Through carefully tailored Progressive Training, we made great strides. Even during the foundational Stabilization phase, she began to see and feel results. Now, years later, she is more active and confident in her fitness, and I am incredibly proud of her progress.

In 2011, I moved from Paris to Los Angeles to further my artistic career. In 2018, after a 24-year break, I decided to return to rugby by joining The Rebellion, Los Angeles' only all-inclusive team. Doing so at 43 years old was not easy, but the fitness journey I embarked on to compete taught me a lot about what we are all capable of achieving—and how to make it happen. It lead me to become my teammates' fitness coach, working with both rookies with little to no athletic experience and seasoned athletes looking to get back in shape alike. That was the last push I needed to become a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), with CPR/AED certification, currently pursuing further specializations.

THE O.P.T MODEL

I use the OPT (Optimum Performance Training) model, which is a comprehensive, phased approach to fitness that focuses on building a solid foundation, improving strength, enhancing power, and optimizing performance through progressive,

goal-specific training.

 

We will begin with a conversation to get to know each other, your goals, and how to realistically achieve them, followed by a free assessment session to gauge where we’re starting from. Throughout the program, we will regularly reassess to ensure the tailored programming is as effective as possible

for YOU.

STRUCTURE

PHASE 1- STABILIZATION ENDURANCE

Focuses on developing core strength, balance, and stability by using high-repetition, low-intensity exercises with body weight and resistance band training, to build a solid foundation for more advanced training.

PHASE 2 - STRENGTH ENDURANCE

Combines strength training with stabilization exercises to enhance muscular endurance and promote the ability to perform exercises for extended periods, increasing strength while maintaining stability by adding dumbbells to the mix.

PHASE 3 - HYPERTROPHY

Focuses on increasing muscle size by using moderate to heavy weights with higher repetitions and shorter rest periods using mostly free weights, and some heavy resistance bands. The goal is to promote muscle growth and improve overall strength, burning fat in the process.

PHASE 4 - MAXIMAL STRENGTH

Aims to increase the maximum amount of force a muscle can produce through low-repetition, high-intensity exercises with longer rest periods. This phase targets the development of pure strength by progressively overloading the muscle. This phase is designed for experience lifters who have also completed the 3 previous phases.

PHASE 5 - POWER

Focuses on developing explosive power through high-intensity exercises that combine strength and speed. The goal is to enhance athletic performance and the ability to produce force quickly with Plyometric and Speed, Agility, Quickness training, perfect for people involved in explosive, high intensity, and stamina driven sports.

Each phase lasts 4 to 6 weeks, and builds upon the previous one, ensuring a systematic approach to improving performance and reducing the risk of injury.

Most people aiming for a healthier lifestyle (loosing weight, building strength and endurance, mitigating issues such as joint and lower back pain, or pelvic floor issues) will primarily cycle through Phases 1 and 2 where you will see significant everyday life improvements, with visible and measurable results.

​

After completing Phases 1 and 2, Phase 3 becomes available for those looking to further challenge their fitness as part of a comprehensive Strength and Conditioning program. Cycling through Phases 1 to 3 is often sufficient to meet our Athletic needs.

 

That said, Phases 4 and 5, tailored for very specific needs, are available for those with specific long-term challenges and the need develop their strength, power, and performance, once a solid foundation, and Strength and Conditioning have been built.

Whether you're someone looking to regain balance in a busy life, a weekend warrior, a young athlete aiming for the next level of High School or College sports, or, an artist with specific occupational strains on their body, my goal is to provide the guidance and motivation you need to succeed.

Athletic Performance

Achieve a complete transformation in strength, endurance, power, and physique over a year of training. Establish and consolidate a solid fitness base, strong strength and conditioning as a foundation, allowing you to improve your strength, power, and endurance.​​​

Boot Camp

For active individuals looking to get back in shape after a break, or aiming at a specific short-term goal.
